Description

The newest addition to our JAZZ Cell family of products incorporates a SCARA robot to provide a highly flexible assembly system. The Robot, of industry-standard type, can be used to remove adhesive components from an array of up to 3 PL100 Applicators. It can also be used to transfer substrates between the Applicators for multiple adhesive component placements. Customized material handling systems including conveyors, tray stackers, and more can be integrated with the JAZZ 600s.

Nautilus Systems Brushless Takeup — <p>The Brushless Takeup arm increases capacity of the standard takeup for a PL100 or PL165 Applicator. The brushless motor operates quietly and is longer lasting than the standard brushed motor takeup.</p>

Nautilus Systems Heavy Takeup — <p>The Heavy Takeup option adds a feature that allows the Operator to utilize the Takeup to advance the material through the system while loading material. The blue knob provides strength and durability not offered by the standard takeup key feature.</p>

Nautilus Systems Series 2 Base — <p>The Series 2 Base platform can be used with any PL or LC Applicator to provide a turnkey semi-auto system. It includes a Safety PLC and can also implement automation of the Fixture or special operations of a an Applicator. NSI can also provide Fixtures for substrate components so that the customer will receive a ‘plug and play’ semi-auto system.</p>

Custom Component Tooling (CCT) Packages — <p>Custom Component Tooling (CCT) packages for a PL tamp mode applicator includes the vacuum chuck, guide roller, and guide pad (items are highlighted in blue). * Most CCT packages only require one guide roller.</p>

Nautilus Systems Series 1 Base — <p>The Series 1 Base platform can be used with any PL or LC Applicator to provide a turnkey semi-auto system. NSI can also provide Fixtures for substrate components so that the customer will receive a ‘plug and play’ semi-auto system.</p>

Nautilus Systems Quick Change Peel Bar — <p>The optional Quick Change Peel Bar allows the Operator to quickly remove and replace a Peel Bar Insert on any PL Series Applicators. In some applications adhesive may build up on the Peel Bar. This option allows the Operator to minimize system downtime resulting from adhesive buildup.</p>

Nautilus Systems Takeup Reel — <p>The optional Takeup Reel plates ensure that spent liner material rolls up evenly on the Takeup roller. These are particularly useful for applications running narrow liners.</p>

Nautilus Systems Aluminum Reel Plates — <p>Aluminum Reel Plates reduce or eliminate opportunity that reel plates will be damaged when the Operator is servicing or loading material rolls. Custom Reel Plate sizes are also available.</p>

Nautilus Systems Quick Change Return Roller — <p>The Quick Change Return Roller allows the Operator to swap Return Rollers for cleaning with minimal system downtime.</p>

PL Series Applicator Service Rail — <p>The PL Series Service Rail allows a PL Series Applicator to be moved between Service and Working locations when integrated into automation. An integrated Docking Lock ensures precise and repeatable positioning at the Working location.</p>

Nautilus Systems Heavy Payoff Arm — <p>The Heavy Payoff arm is enhanced to allow for heavier roll materials to run on a PL100 series applicator.</p>

Nautilus Systems Roll OK Low Sensor Assembly — <p>The Roll OK/Low Sensor Assembly includes mounting hardware and a sensor that can be used to signal your system that the roll will need to be changed soon or that it is empty.</p>

Thermal Transfer Printer (TTP) Integration Module — <p>The TTP (Thermal Transfer Printer) module can be combined with any PL Series Applicator to provide ‘print and apply’ functionality along with the robust and precise placement performance offered by the PL Applicator.</p>
